Send-Off Parties
Send-Off Parties welcome incoming families from the Class of 2029 to the Bryn Mawr College community and connect them with current students, alumnae/i, parents, and staff. They provide an opportunity for incoming students and families to ask questions and learn more about what they can expect at Bryn Mawr.
Register below for the Send-Off Party (or Parties) you'd like to attend.
New Send-Off Parties are still being announced! Check back here to see if there will be one in your area.
If there is not an event scheduled in your region and you would like to connect with local alumnae/i, please email sendoffs@brynmawr.edu with your location and contact information.
Questions? Email sendoffs@brynmawr.edu or phone 610-526-5233.
2025 Send-Off Parties Details
We are excited to welcome the incoming undergraduate class and other new students to campus each fall! Send-Offs are a wonderful opportunity for Bryn Mawr's newest students to come together and meet Mawrters from their area.
These informal gatherings take place across the country and are designed to ease the anxiety of leaving home, foster a sense of community amongst alumnae/i and current students, and celebrate being part of Bryn Mawr. It is also a time for parents and family members to build their own support systems as families embark on this journey together.
If an event is not scheduled in your region we encourage you to attend our Virtual Open Event.
In addition to the in-person regional events and the virtual affinity events outlined above, we are also hosting some additional virtual Send-Offs:
- International Event: This event is for our community that lives outside of the United States.
- Virtual Open Event: This event is for anyone who cannot attend one of our in-person regional events for whatever reason.
For these virtual events, we encourage parents or family to register for the gatherings separately from their students and use separate devices during the event if possible, as we will break into separate student and parent/family breakout rooms during the event. Parents and family are welcome to register for these gatherings even if their student is not able to participate, and vice versa.
Bryn Mawr College welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact Cynthia Washington, Associate Director of Regional Programs (cwashing@brynmawr.edu | 610-526-5233). Requests should be made as early as possible.
