Visiting Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies
The Bi-College Environmental Studies Department at Bryn Mawr College and Haverford College invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2025-26 academic year. We seek candidates with a demonstrated ability to work successfully with a diverse student body. A Ph.D. with expertise in a specialized area of environmental science (e.g., environmental conservation, aquatic science, natural resource management, urban ecology) is required.
The successful candidate will have the credentials to teach two sections (in fall and spring) of an intermediate-level undergraduate course in environmental science that includes a weekly lab, along with an upper-level environmental science seminar in spring. We seek candidates who are passionate about field-based learning and committed to providing students with meaningful, real-world experiences that enhance their understanding of environmental science.
