Biography

Nichole Reynolds joined Bryn Mawr College in the fall of 2022 as Dean of Undergraduate Admissions – a role in which she focused on refining recruitment strategy, expanding access and inclusion, and amplifying Bryn Mawr’s reputation as an institution of excellence and rigor dedicated to cultivating tomorrow’s leaders. Under her leadership, Bryn Mawr’s undergraduate program attracted the highest number of applicants in the College’s history three years running.

As Interim Vice President for Enrollment, she oversees the enrollment functions of Undergraduate Admissions, the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the Postbaccalaureate Premedical Program, and the Office of Financial Aid, coordinating the efforts of Enrollment Communications and Enrollment Data Analytics in service to that work.  A strategic enrollment manager, her internal focus is on data-informed alignment among program marketing, recruitment, admissions, financial aid, and retention strategies to achieve optimal enrollment and retention rates. Externally, her focus is on elevating Bryn Mawr’s presence as a leading destination for empowered learners nationally and globally.

Nichole earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Mount Holyoke College, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. As a proud alumna of a fellow Sister College, her belief in the transformative power of the women’s college space is enduring; she’s presented on this topic alongside Sister College colleagues on national stages for more than a decade. After graduating from Mount Holyoke, she pursued a master’s degree in American Studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she explored the intersection of early African American print culture and notions of the public sphere.

Prior to joining the team at Bryn Mawr, Nichole spent a decade working in undergraduate admissions at her alma mater, serving as Mount Holyoke’s Director of Enrollment Marketing and Communications and Senior Associate Director of Admission. In that dual role, she oversaw west coast recruitment efforts and transfer admission while leading communications work, supporting college-wide rebranding efforts, and creating a multi-channel enrollment marketing campaign that helped lift Mount Holyoke’s application numbers to record levels.

A longtime member of the National Association for College Admissions Counselors and the International Association for College Admissions Counselors, Nichole also serves on the Advisory Board of Peninsula Bridge, a community-based college preparatory organization serving highly motivated, first-generation, low-income students from the San Francisco Bay area, and is a Posse selection member for Bryn Mawr’s Houston and Boston sites.  Outside of work, Nichole can be found in pursuit of fitness and well-being – whether through meditation, strength training, hiking, or running – trying out new soup recipes, or spending time with her daughter and son-in-law, who share her neighborhood in the city of Philadelphia.
