Getting Started

This information was included in one of the emails sent by Admissions to you after you accepted Bryn Mawr's offer of admission. Here are the basics: To access your Bryn Mawr email account, first call the Help Desk at 610-526-7440 to set up your account and password. Please leave a voicemail and someone will return your call. Once you have a password, go to webmail.brynmawr.edu and use your username and password to log in. Be sure to read our Acceptable Use policy before using your Bryn Mawr account.

When you set up your email account, you will be prompted to enroll in Duo, the College's multi-factor authentication service. This is a simple process that helps keep your information secure. We recommend setting up more than one factor to ensure you always have access to your account.

If you need assistance with your Bryn Mawr email account or Duo, please call the Help Desk at 610-526-7440. Help Desk hours are published online.

The same email from Admissions that tells you how to set up your Bryn Mawr email account includes this information.

Housing and Arrival Information

New Student Move-In

Please visit the Move-In page for details about your scheduled move-in date.

Please note that arrival earlier than your assigned date is not permitted. If you will need to arrive to the area earlier, you should plan to stay in off-campus lodging. Local accommodation links can be found here

Although classes end on December 12, new students should plan to be on campus through most, if not all of finals week, which goes through December 20. This will allow students to prepare for and take final examinations and complete any other final work. Students should not leave campus for the semester until all work for their courses has been completed.

Information about new student housing will be available in June.

As long as we have completed health forms on file, you will receive your housing assignments and roommate information by email in August.

The Office of Residential Life has put together a list of FAQS for students that should provide the information you need.

If you are ordering bed linens or sending other packages to Bryn Mawr before August 1, please use the following shipping address, as you will not yet have your BMC mailbox number:
