6:25 pm | Alarm | Graduate School of Social Work
An intrusion alarm was received from the Graduate School of Social Work on Airdale Road. 
The alarm was set off by a student entering the building. The alarm was reset by the Officer.

There were no other significant incidents to report.

Tuesday, January 6

11:57 pm | Alarm - Fire | New Dorm Dining

A fire alarm trouble was received from New Dorm Dining. The alarm was set oI by a dirty smoke detector. The alarm was reset by the Officer.

 

Thursday, January 8

9:26 am | Accident | Ward Building

Campus Safety responded to the report of a student transport bus that backed into a railing at the Ward building. No injuries reported.

2:55 pm | Suspicious Activity | Batten House

Campus Safety responded to Batten for the report of someone trying to enter Batten from the back door. The subject was gone when Campus Safety arrived. This incident possibly related to the incident on 12/20/25.

 

Friday, January 9

12:32 pm | Disturbance | Canaday Library

A report of two males arguing in the area of the Canaday Library was received. The subjects were gone from the library and surrounding area when Campus Safety arrived.

 

Sunday, January 11

12:32 pm | Security Check | Batten House

A rusted padlock was found by Officers during a check of the Batten House. Facilities was contacted and replaced the lock.

 

Monday, January 19

1:02 am | Intoxication-Medical Response | New Dorm

Campus Safety responded to the report of an intoxicated student who was ill.  The student was evaluated by EMS, refused transport to the hospital, and monitored by the on-call nurse.

 

Tuesday, January 20

5:44 pm | Harassment by Communication | Erdman Hall

A student reported receiving harassing texts.  The incident was referred to the Lower Merion Police who responded.

8:13 pm | Information Received | Erdman Hall

A student reported additional information regarding a prior incident.  Title IX advised. 

 

Thursday, January 22

9:44 am | Fire Alarm | Erdman Hall

A fire alarm was received from Erdman Hall on Morris Avenue.  A smoke detector had been activated.  No fire or smoke was found.  The alarm was reset by the Officer.

10:02 am | Found Property | Gateway Parking Lot

A utility tool was found near the Gateway parking lot and returned to Campus Safety.

7:00 pm | Suspicious Odor | New Dorm / Enid Cook Center

A student reported the odor of burning marijuana in the hall area.  It was determined that another student had smoked outside and reentered bringing the smell inside.

1:14 am | Alcohol - Intoxication | Rhodes Hall

Campus Safety responded to the report of an intoxicated student who was ill.  The student was evaluated, refused transport to the hospital, and monitored overnight.

Campus Safety responded to the report of an intoxicated student who was ill.  The student was evaluated, refused transport to the hospital, and monitored overnight.

5:42 pm | Medical Transport | Denbigh Hall

A student reported that after a Tele-Health call they were advised to go to the hospital.  The student was transported to the hospital by Campus Safety.

 

Sunday, January 25

10:11 pm | Fall – Medical Transport | Rhodes Hall

A student reported that they fell while walking behind Rhodes Halls.  The student was transported to the hospital to be evaluated for their injury.

 

Tuesday, January 27

3:31 am | Medical Transport | Rockefeller Hall

A student reported that they cut their finger while working on an art project. The student was transported to the hospital to be evaluated for their injury.

 

Saturday, January 31

11:12 pm | Alcohol - Intoxication | Rockefeller Hall

Campus Safety responded to the report of an intoxicated student.  The student was evaluated, refused transport to the hospital, was transported to their dorm room, and monitored overnight.
