"What do you mean?" Conflicting definitions and narratives about Palestine and Israel
Bi-Co Atidna is a student-led Israel-Palestine peace organization dedicated to educating and empowering our community to support social justice initiatives. This dialogue will focus on the terminology related to Palestine and Israel, especially how it shows up on college campuses. Sample discussion topics include different understandings of the term "Zionism", perspectives that members of our community have on protest chants like "from the river to the sea," exploring why calling the genocide in Gaza a genocide attracts contention, and more. All members of the Tri-Co college community are welcome. We aim to create a space for people to share their true beliefs and life experiences, listen fully to others, and disagree respectfully and constructively.
