Public Observing Event: Finding Friends in Outer Space

This Friday, October 3rd, the Strawbridge Observatory is hosting our first public observing event of the semester: Finding Friends in Outer Space, as part of 100 Hours of Astronomy. Running from 8-10pm, this event will include observations through one or more of our telescopes, student-led talks on the search for life outside our Solar System, as well as fun astronomy themed demonstrations and crafts.
*Note: Due to updated fire safety regulations, we are going to have to be more strict about the number of people in the building, so if you really want to avoid waiting outside, consider coming in the latter half, after 9pm.
Bryn Mawr College welcomes the full participation of all individuals in all aspects of campus life. Should you wish to request a disability-related accommodation for this event, please contact the event sponsor/coordinator. Requests should be made as early as possible.
