MugShots: Start off Banned Books Week with Snap and a Jolt of Coffee at the Canaday Library
Go uncensored this Banned Books Week! On Monday, October 6, from 9:30–11:00 am, bring your mug (your coffee cup and your visage!) to the Canaday Library entrance. Sip some coffee, strike a pose in protest with a banned or challenged book, and share what “forbidden” reads you love. We will snap your mugshot with your chosen book while you learn more about the American Library Association’s Top Ten Banned Books of 2024, and while our librarians highlight and share more about the bold authors whose writings have faced censorship around the world.
