On Campus Event - Park Science, 363C

The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) would like to advertise their PhD programs and their paid internship program (all travel expenses to/from Okinawa, housing and a stipend provided) for both undergraduates and recent graduates. The institute emphasizes interdisciplinarity (e.g., it does not have traditional departments) and is instead organized around research units focused on topics such as Evolutionary Biology, Nanoscience, Neuroscience, Marine Sciences, and Quantum Physics. Dr. Kathy Takayama, Interim Dean of Faculty Affairs at OIST, will present and answer questions about OIST, their PhD programs, and the internship program.
