Join Us for a Pre-Election Discussion!

If this is your first time voting...or if you just want a refresher, join the Career & Civic Engagement Center in welcoming Jamie Mogil, President of the League of Women Voters of Lower Merion & Narberth, for an engaging discussion to help you prepare to cast your ballot on Election Day. We will share the sample ballot from our voting district, talk about how to research candidates on the down-ballot elections, what to expect in the polling place, and more! Bring your questions, concerns, and reflections--we will talk about it all! Please note--the League of Women Voters and the Career & Civic Engagement Center are nonpartisan. We will not be endorsing any candidates, political parties, or political positions. Jamie Mogil has spent her career working to amplify the voices of everyday people, first as a consumer protection attorney and, more recently, representing employees in workplace discrimination cases at her firm, JRMogil Law. In addition to her private practice, Ms. Mogil has dedicated the last decade to expanding voter access, securing our elections, and ending gerrymandering. She has worked for groups like Common Cause as a 2018 PA Election Protection Director, leading the largest nonpartisan coalition in PA history, and Fair Districts PA as Coordinator for Resolutions, creating and leading the process to pass hundreds of municipal resolutions supporting redistricting reform that now cover 9 million Pennsylvanians. Ms. Mogil is a longtime League of Women Voters member and recent President of the League in Lower Merion & Narberth.
