Join BMCEMS in the Philadelphia City-Wide Collegiate Hands-Only CPR Demo. More than 350,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur each year in the United States. The American Heart Association wants everyone to become a part of the Nation of Lifesavers that are prepared to act in an emergency with three simple steps: Share, Practice, and Activate. During cardiac arrest, CPR can double or triple a person's chance of survival.
