Bryn Mawr undergraduate students are invited to apply for two (2) research assistant positions working on the ARCH (Art Remediating College Histories) Project.
The ARCH Project Research Assistants will undertake extensive archival research to recover the names and, where possible, the stories of these staff members. These positions offer students the opportunity to learn how to do historical research with primary sources, to recover unrecognized stories, and to share their experience and findings broadly. Interns will develop digital and material archives skills, as well as a deep understanding of how histories are constructed.
The interns will work on the project as a team in close collaboration with staff in Special Collections, the ARCH Project team, and Durrett. The interns will be based in the Special Collections Department and will work part-time, in-person during the school year.
Applications due September 8
Pay rate: $13/hour
