Building the Next Chapter
President Cadge is building on two years of strategic planning work completed before she arrived and all that she learned in her first year on the job. In 2025-26, we will build innovative approaches to the College’s next chapter through a strategic plan, a comprehensive physical plan for the campus, and pilot grants open to all members of the on-campus college community.
Bryn Mawr’s strength resides in its distinct qualities. Our dual commitments to tradition and innovation; academic rigor rooted in ever-evolving ways of educating students to the highest levels. Close alignment between undergraduate and graduate study in a small liberal arts context. A deep commitment to a multi-generational community comprised largely of women. And a willingness to look honestly at the past and use those learnings to inform how the College enacts its mission in the future.
On September 11, President Cadge will outline four core areas for the College’s next chapter or strategic plan and describe how the community will build the plan this year. In partnership with DLR, the college community will also be building a comprehensive plan for the physical campus this year. The strategic plan and campus physical plan will be built in parallel centered around what makes Bryn Mawr College distinctive.
