Serving Up Love in Wyndham

We both worked at Wyndham during our first year and kept bumping into each other around campus and at parties. I [Rose] used to refer to them as the 'cute one with the English accent' to my friends and I was 'the tiny redhead' to theirs. We finally got together in spring at a ‘space prom’ themed party in Radnor - my friends remember looking up to see us making out in the middle of the dance floor!
We started officially dating our sophomore year after a summer with Liam back in England. Three years later, we had a self-uniting marriage on campus in the sunken garden in April 2018, our senior year. This made it easier to move to the UK where we've been living since, first in York, and now in Bristol.
BMC was a great environment for us both, for me as a queer woman and for Liam who is trans masc. Being surrounded by the wider queer community, we felt comfortable to be ourselves.
Rose's favorite memory: our first May Day!
Liam's favorite memory: going to Rose's house during fall break in sophomore year to experience autumn in New England.
