Ann Perepezko

Ann Perepezko is a licensed social worker and School Intervention Coach at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Center for Violence Prevention. In this role, Perepezko partners with schools throughout Philadelphia to reduce bullying and aggression. Her work focuses on training and coaching counselors and teachers to implement a school-based intervention to improve children’s social and emotional skills and promote positive peer relationships.

Perepezko holds an MSW with a clinical concentration from the University of Pennsylvania and a BSW from New York University. She has over a decade of experience working in the areas of child advocacy, mental health, and education. Perepezko began her social work career at the Defenders Association of Philadelphia, advocating for youth involved in dependency and delinquency court. Following this position, Perepezko worked at an elementary school in West Philadelphia where she led teams focused on developing and implementing school-wide behavioral interventions and collaborated with students, staff, and families to improve the school climate. Currently, in addition to being a School Intervention Coach, Perepezko is also part of a team focused on developing and implementing a racial and intersectional microaggression skill-building program at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In this role, Perepezko has contributed to curriculum development, using a community-based participatory approach, and serves as a co-facilitator for the multi-session program.
