Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research Dean Janet Shapiro is among the authors of the newly updated Specialized Practice Curricular Guide for Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health from the Council on Social Work Education.
In addition to serving as the GSSWSR dean, Shapiro is co-director of the Center for Child and Family Wellbeing. Her research interests focus on the translation of developmental research to applied issues of practice relevant to indicators of child and family wellbeing.
