Now Hiring BMC Banter Bloggers for 2016-17

If you’re familiar with the #bmcbanter hashtag used on the College’s social media channels, you likely have the BMC Banter Bloggers to thank. This group of student bloggers works to shape campus conversation by sharing their Bryn Mawr College experience through blogstweets, and photos in an array of social mediums.

Share your Bryn Mawr College experience through social media with prospective students, alumnae/i, and the on-campus College community through the Bryn Mawr Banter Blogger program. Develop and gain readership through actively promoting your blog. Responsibilities include WordPress blog design and updates, weekly blog posts, tweeting, and Instagraming.

Candidate must be a current Bryn Mawr College student. Candidate must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Previous social media experience preferred. Candidate will blog at least once a week, tweet or post to Instagram at least once a day, and any attend meetings as scheduled by College Communications.

To apply: Fill out the Student Employment Office application and, additionally, send a sample blog posts (200-350 words) or link to current blog to dcampeggio@brynmawr.edu. Type “Banter Blogger 2016” in email subject line. Those who do not send sample work will not be considered.
