We will be conducting a test of our Emergency Notification System this Friday, November 6, at 3 p.m.
Our emergency notification system is comprised of:
- An audible siren with a public address component.
- An electronic notification component capable of sending out messages via land-line, cell phone, e-mail, and text messaging.
Message content will be:

This is a test of the Bryn Mawr College Emergency Notification System. This is only a test. In the event of an emergency, you will be notified by a combination of e-mail, text, and voice messages with information on the nature of the emergency, what action to undertake, and where to turn for further information. This is only a test. Thank you for your participation.

Important: To let the alert system know that you received the message:
- The phone message will prompt you to Press 1 to hear the message - press 1 again to confirm receipt of the message.
- The e-mail alert will contain a link that contains the message. Click on the e-mail link to confirm receipt of the message.
