Post-graduation plans: Jill will travel to England, France, and China as an independent traveling photographer. Following that experience, she intends to work as a digital analyst and row in Princeton, New Jersey.
Major: Mathematics
Jill on her Bryn Mawr experience: “I’ve worn many hats during my time at Bryn Mawr: the student-athlete, the math major, the photographer, the goofy freshman and the 'intimidating' senior… one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in college is to embrace change. It is still a challenge for me, but having a community for four years that has constantly evolved with me, inspired me, and supported me throughout my journey has been an amazing luxury. I am graduating with a confidence in my abilities to adapt, to work hard to achieve my goals, and the audacity to dream big, due in no small part to the people I have met during my time at Bryn Mawr.”
Key experiences at Bryn Mawr:
- Taking a digital photography class at University of Pennsylvania Fine Arts Department via the Quaker Consortium
- Learning to row on the Bryn Mawr Varsity Rowing team. All-time college record holder in 2000m, 5000m, and 6000m distances
- Joining the Varsity Soccer Team, becoming co-president of BMC Rock Climbing Club, and being a co-coordinator of Distressing Math Collective (DMC) during senior year
- Meeting Professor Leslie Cheng
Hometown: Skillman, New Jersey.
